This marks Tyrion Lannister's third straight win for the best supporting character in an action series. He followed three victories in a row for Justified's Boyd Crowder.  Tyrion was also nominated for the award in 2011 and 2013 and in 2012 he was nominated for the best lead character in an action series.  Game of Thrones has now won 17 awards at the Poolies in history.
