Owen and Vince
Although Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn's work in Wedding Crashers might be the funniest buddy comedy performance ever, their audio commentary for the dvd could easily be number two. These two guys play off of each other better than any team i've heard. Other audio commentaries that I've watched recently that are worth taking a look at; Talladega Nights, Old School, Monsters Inc.

DJ Gallo is funny
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Camp To-Do: Find another go-to receiver
Joey Galloway is 36. Ike Hilliard is 33. The Buccaneers need a younger receiver to step up. They think Michael Clayton can do it, but I have my doubts. I recently watched a DVD of "Michael Clayton," and while there were some strong performances, I thought it was too slow.

Camp To-Do: Stay healthy
A slew of injuries last year led to a disastrous 3-13 season with few highlights. In fact, here is the entirety of the 2007 Rams highlights DVD.

The Wire?

It was some time during last year when a couple of tv lovers, Lochness and Linus told me they had started watching 'the wire.' They said that it was really tough to get through and they never ended up finishing the first season. Now as a guy who loves television and prides himself in the fact that I can watch ep upon ep, I didn't think when I started 'the wire' anything of the sort would happen to me. Because 'the wire' is always touted as one of the best shows in recent tv past, and it is only ten or twelve episodes long, I was surprised that the exact same thing has begun to happen to me. I watched the first four episodes off and on over a two week period, but that was back in june. I have since not watched a single episode and instead watched the entire second season of rome and numerous movies. I will, at some point finish the first season of the wire, but at this point I'm not really looking forward to it.

Sopranos

I just finished the thirteen episodes of season 1 of The Sopranos. I began watching it because two big tv guys (larry and jaydon) said it was in their top three shows of all time. With that in mind, I was pretty disappointed in the season. I am assuming these guys can't remember this far back because this one season of sopranos didn't even compare to heroes, and let's not even try to compare it to lost. As most shows do, I'm assuming it will get better as the seasons go on, but there was just not that much excitement for a show dealing with so much killing. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the show, but it was mostly the last three episodes that were doing it for me. I'm gonna take a break from sopranos and take a look at the wire. we'll see what happens.

Joe Schmo Show

So I was recently turned on to the Joe Schmo Show by T-time. I watched all 10 episodes within the last week because it was so good. Those of you who have no idea what it is...it was a parody of a reality show aired for two seasons in 2003-2004. In the first season, which is known as much better than season 2, the producers went out and found a guy that they wanted to center the show around. They then found 9 actors to play the 8 other reality show contestants, as well as the host of the fake reality show, Lap of Luxury. They filmed the show like Big Brother, where everyone lived in a house and competed for immunity and then voted out a housemate one at a time. It was hilarious to watch 'Joe Schmo' or Matt Kennedy Gould, deal with the ridiculous situations that the producers and directors put him through. The private interviews by the actors were also great because they were acting completely different than in the house. The best was the guy who was pretending to be a flaming gay guy with a cuban accent and then in his interviews was straight as an arrow. It was also awesome when the whole show ended and Joe Schmo finally found out that the whole thing was fake. He took it really well and was overwhelmed by the whole thing. It was great to watch because he was a great guy. The show wouldn't have worked if he wasn't such a great guy.

Gossip Girl Here

I just finished watching the introductory season of gossip girl and i enjoyed it more than i thought i would. It's on CW so i wasn't expecting much. Being co-created by Josh Schwartz of O.C. fame, it is easy to make comparisons. The main character, Dan, is no Seth, and Dan's dad, Rufus, is definitely no Sandy Cohen. What makes it better is how much less i hate Serena than i did Marissa. Bad boy, Chuck, is a great addition to the cast, as he brings more thrill to the show.
I'm looking forward to watching next season, while adding the new 90210 spinoff and the new palm beach show to my CW lineup.
Obviously here is my character rankings...
1.Nate
2.Chuck
3.Rufus
4.Blair
5.Dan
6.Vanessa
7.Lily
8.Serena
9.Georgina
10.Bart
11.Eric
12.Jenny

Lost Character Voting

If you haven't realized this already, I am a big fan on voting on things. After we finished voting on Six Flags rides on the way home on Monday, we decided to vote on Lost characters. We only used characters from this season so the list wouldn't get too long.
When you take a look at the list, look at how ridiculous some of Fox's votes are. I loved to see where Jack finished, but was extremely disappointed in the winner. Although I can understand people liking him, I don't feel he deserved to be there over Sawyer. And they didn't. Mags spite voted Sawyer low so that Sayid would win. Great move on his part, but disappointing as an honest voter.
Check the results...

They are also here in order...
1. Sayid
2. Sawyer
Hurley
