Fantasy Big Brother Rules and Teams

It's been a long hiatus, but what can you expect when The Kid is in the great state of Maine hanging out with JJ every second of the day? There is no time for blogging, too many activities to do. Just got back from Florida and am now back at work. Many Florida related blog posts are to come but with Big Brother 11 getting under way last Thursday it is about time to get on with the first ever Bro Out Fantasy Big Brother League.

Because of all the success of the Fantasy Survivor League, Fantasy Big Bro promises some great action. There were 12 contestants that the viewers knew about heading into the first episode, with one mystery contestant on the horizon. For our four player league we each get three players. I hope the fact that the mystery contestant, now known to be last season's body builder Jessie, is in play won't hurt the game that much.

Scoring is very similar to Survivor with each player receiving points for making it through a week and bonuses for winning competitions. Minus points will be awarded for being nominated for eviction and extra deductions per vote cast against them.

Points per week of advancement: 1, 2, 4, 7, 11, 16, 22, 29, 37, 46, 56, 67, 79, 92
Power of Veto: 15 points
Head of Household: 12 points
Other individual challenges: 10 points
Team challenges: 5 points
Nominated for eviction: -5 points
Votes for eviction: -3 points
Back stab: 20 points
Cut a deal mid competition: -10

Survivor Tocantins Championship

Ending the Game
Man these last three rounds come quickly. With four survivors left I think it was the right move for both JT and Stephen to get rid of Taj first. When it got down to three JT had the power as he obtained immunity once again. So he took Stephen because he is a man of his word, but backstabbed Taj one round earlier? Interesting. He also didn't write Coach's name down because he had a pact with him, but had no problem doing it to Taj, whom he had an alliance with since day four in this game. That being said, his answers to the final questions were much better than Stephen's and it seems that those final impressions are lasting with the jury voters. All in all, I'm glad JT took home the trophy and the money. The rancher from Alabama did so in style, winning with a unanimous vote for only the second time in Survivor history.

Here are Stephen and JT with their commentary on last night's final vote.

Fantasy Championship
Congrats Jaydon on your Fantasy Survivor Championship. Jay's depth proved to much for Larry's late round comeback of JT and Coach. I definitely like the point system we used this season better than last. Rewarding those that get further in the game with big point jumps (Stephen, JT).

The Poolie Goes To
1st. Sugar Kiper (Survivor)- 18 points...(1st)
And now with some words on Sugar Kiper, here is Jaydon of Jaydon's Cave...

____________________________________________________

Jessica "Sugar" Kiper placed third on Survivor Gabon. Known mostly from crying and talking about her dead father, Sugar actually made some big moves in the game. What stands out most was her finding the hidden immunity idol and her ousting partner Ace, who had thought he had her in the palm of his hand. Her finishing third isn't that big of an accomplishment considering a borderline retard, Susie, came second. Gabon was a season of terrible players colluding for mutual benefit. In the drudgery of such characters as "extra chromosome" Susie, Olympic Champion klutz Crystal and the overly cocky, never been kissed nerd, Ken, Sugar wasn't half bad. Luckily the right person won it all, crafty old Bob from Maine. This goes to show that shorties are wacker than dudes when our winner isn't even the most successful woman in her season and to nominate the person who beat her out would be to render the poolies immediately irrelevant.

Bonus Material: She's engaged to this loser.

No Sanka for Jaydon

Being the great Jamaican that he is, I was very surprised when I didn't find Sanka Coffie in his top ten movie characters. Actually I was surprised when his entire top didn't look like this...

1. Sanka Coffie- Cool Runnings
2. Derice Bannock- Cool Runnings
3. Yul Brenner- Cool Runnings
4. Junior Bevil- Cool Runnings
5. Mr. Coolidge- Cool Runnings
6. Momma Coffie- Cool Runnings
7. Push Cart Derby Starter- Cool Runnings
8. Joy Bannock- Cool Runnings
9. Whitby Bevil Sr.- Cool Runnings
10. Ben Bannock(only in a picture)- Cool Runnings

Either way I was a big fan of Jaydon's list, especially since he gave some love to Jack Kelly and Ronald F. Burgandy. Also big ups for Linderman getting the number one spot.

Jaydon's Top Ten
